GENERAL CIVIL LITIGATION

Virtually all types of civil litigation. See our "Anatomy of a Lawsuit" Page.

CONTRACT DRAFTING AND REVIEW

We can draft a contract that fits your need. Or, if you have been given a contract to sign and are unsure of all of its terms, call us.

SMALL CLAIMS

We can represent you in a small claims matter, or you can consult with us to get information as to how to proceed in the matter on your own.

REAL ESTATE

We prepare deeds, real estate contracts, and review documents associated with closing of real estate transactions. REMEMBER, if you are selling real estate in Indiana, you MUST be aware of certain residential disclosure requirements that you must follow. Indiana Code 24-4.6-2-7.

RESTRAINING ORDERS

We can help you obtain a restraining order against people who are harassing, threatening, or harming you in an inappropriate manner.

LANDLORD & TENANT DISPUTES

We represent both landlords and tenants in disputes. There is an Indiana law requiring landlords to give a tenant an itemized list of damages for which he/she is retaining all or part of the security deposit with 45 days. If the landlord does NOT do so, the tenant has various legal remedies available, including the recovery of any attorney fees the tenant may incur. Indiana Code 32-7-5-14.

ARTICLES OF INCORPORATION & PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENTS

We prepare these documents so that you can begin operating your business as a corporation or partnership.

ESTATES & GUARDIANSHIPS

We can help you probate estates that have wills or those that do not have wills. We can also file guardianships for a minor or a loved one with a diminished capacity to care for him/herself.

MISCELLANEOUS LEGAL SERVICES

If there are other legal questions or problems that you have, please do not hesitate to contact our office. If we are unable to help you, we may be able to get you pointed in the right direction. Lawsuits have to be filed within a certain time period. These are called STATUTES OF LIMITATION. There are some unique statutes, but most cases will fall under one of the two categories:
Indiana Code 34-1-2-1
Indiana Code 34-1-2-2.
